Michelle Trachtenberg is hitting back at the "haters."
The "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" star, 38, took to Instagram to push back against comments about her appearance after followers expressed concerns about her health based on recent photos.
"Fun fact. This is my face," Trachtenberg captioned a selfie. "Not malnutrition no problems. Why do you have you hate? Get a calendar."
A day earlier, Trachtenberg shared a similar message and selfie while noting that she has "received several comments recently about my appearance," to which she replied, "I have never had plastic surgery I am happy and healthy. Check yourself haters."
Some of Trachtenberg's recent Instagram photos have sparked comments claiming that she appears unwell, with numerous fans openly speculating about her health and urging her to see a doctor. The comments continued to pour in even on the actress' newest posts insisting that she is healthy.
In response to one comment suggesting that she looks sick, Trachtenberg replied, "Did you lose a calendar and not realize I'm not 14. I'm 38. How sad for you to leave such a comment."
Others have come to Trachtenberg's defense, with one fan writing, "None of you know her well enough to be commenting on her health would you really say the same to a stranger in person?" Actress Kristin Chenoweth also chimed in to defend Trachtenberg by commenting, "Ignore the hate baby!"

Trachtenberg rose to fame as a child star appearing in kids' movies and shows like "The Adventures of Pete & Pete" and "Harriet the Spy." She went on to star as Buffy's sister Dawn Summers on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and Georgina Sparks on "Gossip Girl." In recent years, Trachtenberg has hosted the true crime series "Meet, Marry, Murder" and returned as Georgina in the 2021 "Gossip Girl" reboot.
Bella Hadidis 'very proud' of Ariana Grande for speaking up on body comments: 'Be kind'
In December, Trachtenberg shared a selfie on Instagram after saying that one of her friends had dared her to take a photo without any makeup. "What do you think?" she wrote. "Ps. Saying 'still' before any fake comment is so pathetic. I'm 38 years old and grateful. Get a calendar."
She also posted a selfie in January 2023 "in light of hearing people turning to plastic surgery to fluff up their face" to show that she has "never had anything done."
"I hope someone reading this post sees how beautiful they are naturally," she wrote. "Drink water, use face cream and sunscreen. And most important: never let the bullies drag you down!"
Trachtenberg's posts come after Ariana Grande in 2023 urged fans to refrain from commenting on her body in response to concerns about her weight.
"I think we should be gentler and less comfortable commenting on people's bodies, no matter what," Grande said in a TikTok, adding, "There are many different ways to look healthy and beautiful."
